ATO 2021 CFP – Opening Tuesday, March 30

Many have asked, and we’re now in a position to make the announcement…

The 2021 All Things Open call-for-papers (CFP) will officially open Tuesday, March 30 and will remain open for 30 days.

From the beginning of ATO, way back in 2013, we’ve been truly fortunate to have technologists, decision makers, community leaders, and entrepreneurs of all types submit talks each year, and we’ve worked hard to deliver ROI and a good experience to each and every one of those selected. We plan to continue that tradition in 2021,

Two important items to mention…

  1. We’re currently working hard to finalize the event format, primarily meaning in person versus virtual. We are taking a virtual-first approach, meaning at the very least we’ll host a world-class virtual event (~7,500 registered for the virtual version in 2020), but we’re also looking at the possibility of adding an in-person component as well. Things look hopeful, and we’ll address this in the CFP announcement and in the months ahead as we get closer to October.
  2. While 2021 details will be available in a couple of weeks, here is the 2020 CFP announcement and additional details. Feel free to take a look and begin thinking of possible talk topics. While there will be some changes of course, much will remain the same, so it’s a good starting point.

Be on the lookout for the announcement on Tuesday, March 30 (it will coincide with Open Source 101) and let us know if you have questions or need anything, as always. Contact us directly at info@allthingsopen.org.
