August RTP meetup Summary

The August RTP meetup – It was tremendous

The August RTP meetup marked our first time back at IBM in approximately 2.5 years.

It was worth the wait.

Attendance was strong as 60-70+ were onsite for networking and some really good education. A number of community announcements were made and many new to the RTP and the ATO community joined and participated, which was fantastic.

The featured talk was amazing as well. Jarrod Overson, CTO at Candle, delivered “WebAssembly & Zero Trust for Code” and it was extremely well received. Many posed questions in the Q&A segment.

Here are Jarrod’s slides – https://www.slideshare.net/AllThingsOpen/webassembly-zero-trust-for-code.

Safety Protocols
Multiple safety protocols were in place at the meetup. Just a few included distanced seating, onsite mask and hand sanitizer availability, distanced food and beverage distribution, and many more.

Thanks to IBM for Hosting
IBM was an incredible host once again and it was great to be back onsite after such a long time away. We want to thank them again for their hospitality.
